  1. Unless you are in your 70’s like me you can’t understand what it is like to know your time here could soon be done. The clock seems to be ticking much faster now than it did when I was 30, 40, 50 and even 60. At 72, chances are, heaven is very near.

Do you ever have doubts? I do. Whether it be from my flesh or from Satan, doubts come. Does God really love me? How could He when He knows all my many shortcomings? Am I really saved? What is there to show it?

And always God sends a reminder. This week He used Samuel’s account of God choosing Saul.
1 Samuel 10:6 β€œ…. and you will prophesy with them and BE TURNED INTO ANOTHER MAN”. Again in verse 9 β€œWhen he turned his back to leave Samuel GOD GAVE HIM ANOTHER HEART.”

I remember! In September of 1979 GOD TURNED ME INTO ANOTHER WOMAN. HE GAVE ME ANOTHER HEART! God knows I’m His because He did it. I know I’m His because I used to be one way and now I am another! IT’S CALLED BEING BORN AGAIN!

God did it and what He does sticks! He just has to remind me every now and again.
